"What colors would you change it to?" Abby's case grid gets its answers

A month-old short from the phone case maker who started at 16 has picked up again, and its comments read like a color poll followed by a wish list.

Abby started her phone case business when she was 16. She is 24 now, and her channel's about line says it is still going. Most of her shorts are the cases themselves, held up to the camera. This one, posted on September 8, shows a grid of them and ends by handing the decision to the viewer: what colors would you change it to?

Thirty days later, that question is moving faster than it ever did. The short spent its first weeks at a few thousand views a day. It is now drawing about six times that and has passed a quarter of a million views in all. Around it, the channel is running at its ordinary pace, which is already large: about a million views a day. Its standout recent upload, "Luxe Cases have entered the chatttt", has passed two million views since September 30.

The comment section did what the title asked. One viewer backs the teal in the middle, another the blue, pink and purple in the bottom right corner, and several pick the bottom middle. Someone admits that at first glance the cases seemed to be floating. A couple of people mention the audio, and one is sure they heard the same sound years ago.

Then the wish list begins. Viewers ask for a vampire case for Twilight fans, for Tokio Hotel, Stray Kids, Enhypen and Miles Morales. One wishes the cases had a little kickstand. Another wants to know whether Abby makes them for the iPhone 12 mini, and one viewer, unprompted, reports getting her lucky charms case as a birthday present.
